A message from Andrew Armington:
Dear Core Clientele and Staff,
As my first month of fatherhood has come and gone, I find myself reflecting on the whole experience. It has been a wonderful and crazy ride thus far. A theme I continue to come back to is the generosity of the Core clientele and staff.
The amount of love emanating from Core for Alexander, Erin, and myself is nothing short of incredible and something we will be eternally grateful for.
We are reminded daily of all of your generosity. Thank you to everyone that provided our family with clothes, bottles, books, and all other essential baby gear. Thank you to everyone who donated their time, put on baby showers, and delivered homemade meals. Having a child is absolutely beautiful but it truly takes a village. We owe so much to Core and all of the wonderful clients.
I know Erin misses seeing all of you, instructing, and interacting with the Core community. I extend my appreciation to all of you for understanding her absence during such a precious time. It isn’t easy for Erin to be away from her business but most of you know that motherhood has been Erin’s biggest dream in life. I feel like the luckiest man in the world to go on this journey with her; forming our little family has truly been special.
To the Core Staff, thank you for stepping up to the plate to pick up all of the extra work and keeping the studio running smoothly. It has been a blessing for Erin to take this time and not have to worry about all of the little details and just focus on being a mom. You are all rockstars.
Thank you everyone. We could not have done this without all of you. It is humbling to experience such incredible love. I cannot wait to tell Fitz about all of the wonderful people that had such a positive impact on his life from the beginning.
My utmost appreciation and gratitude,
Andrew Armington
I am so happy it is summertime in Jackson! I love to hike Josie’s when it is nice out but with two bulging discs in my lumbar spine, hiking makes my low back super tight and sometimes painful. Stretching out my hamstrings on the ladder barrel helps release my tight hamstrings and IT bands and relieves tension in my low back. I help my clients release tension with this stretch and other exercises that help to loosen tight muscles and aid in relieving back pain.
Welcome back, Hailey!
Hailey is home from UWyo for the summer, and she will be helping us at the front desk once again. Welcome back, Hailey!

Foam Rolling the Lats!
Your latissimus dorsi (aka your lats) start from the thoracic and lumbar region of the spine and reach diagonally across the back into the underarm. They are responsible for several movements of the back, sides, and arms.
Foam rolling the lats helps to release tension that builds up in your neck, shoulders, and back after hunching.
It is a great way to decompress after biking, hiking, and/or sitting at the desk. Laying on your side, place the foam roller under the upper portion of your ribs and roll toward the armpit. Place your top arm behind your head to feel the pressure in a different way.

Instructor Spotlight!
There have been so many changes that we haven’t had a chance to properly congratulate Kim Armington for joining the Core Team. Kim has been a PTA and a Pilates instructor for over 13 years. From these years of experience she comes with an incredible skill set and an extensive amount of continuing education courses. She is able to accommodate many specific aspects of any client’s needs. This week Kim is off to more continuing education courses in Arizona. We will follow up with not only what she learned in these courses but a more in depth look into her specialties as an instructor.
